One Direction tweeted this little piece of trivia for Throwback Thursday, but as any 1D fan would know, there is something wrong with this picture.

The picture of course is from the the group's 2014 music video for "Steal My Girl" in which all five members croon about love. Oh, but there only seem to be four fellows in this picture...

The British boy band cropped out former member Zayn Malik! It looks as though whoever mans (or womans) 1D's account isn't over the sting of goodbye.

On March 25 Zayn officially exited stage right, stating, "I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight."

The remaining four released the statement, "We're really sad to see Zayn go, but we totally
respect his decision and send him all our love for the future. The past five years have been beyond amazing, we've gone through so much together, so we will always be friends. The four of us will now continue. We're looking forward to recording the new album and seeing all the fans on the next stage of the world tour."

While the record says it was an amicable breakup, this picture suggests the aftermath may be less amicable.

One fan tweeted, "@onedirection you can crop Zayn out of a picture but you can't crop him out of our memories and more than 4 years of being in the band..."

Another wrote, "@onedirection where's zayn he might not be in the band anymore but he was in this video and I don't know this video without him tbh."
