Taylor Swift was pretty psyched when she first learned Ryan Adams would be covering her 1989 album.

And now that the Indie rocker has released 11 30-second clips of 1989 songs, Taylor is beyond excited for the whole thing to come together!

"He's gotten some of the best musicians together to record this album and if the clips he's released are any indication, this is going to be something really special," the "Shake It Off" singer tells Entertainment Weekly.

"Ryan Adams is one of the artists who shaped my songwriting," adds Taylor. "My favorite part of his style of creating music is his ability to bleed aching vulnerability into it, and that's what he's done with his cover project of my album 1989."

"When I first heard that Ryan was going to be covering my entire album, I couldn't believe it," Taylor tells Entertainment Weekly. "It's such an honor that he would want to take my stories and lyrics and give them a new life."

We don't know yet exactly when Ryan will be releasing the full, Smiths-inspired version of his 1989 cover, but [fingers crossed] it should be soon. On Tuesday, Mandy Moore's ex confirmed on Instagram that the "Whole record is rough mixed now," so now it seems Ryan just has some fine tuning left to do.

Based on what we've seen and heard so far, though, he certainly seems to be in a Swiftie state of mind!
