Yesterday we debuted the first round of our Viral Moment Tournament and we already cut out half the competition. That's right, we're getting ruthless around here.
But actually it's you, the audience, putting the stories on the chopping block. We gave you the chance to vote, and vote you did. Eight of this summer's craziest/wackiest/most mind-numbingly ridiculous stories were eliminated. One Direction fans mourning the end of Larry fell to Taylor Swift and her girl gang. Meek Mill and Drake's rap beef was deemed not nearly as interesting as LeBron James' penis. (But what is, really?)
Jeb Bush's TGIF sitcom logo lost to Donald Trump's antics, the cat wearing the crop top lost to Cecil the Lion's defenders, Ariana Grande's donut licking lost to Rachel Dolezal's...er...circus show, and the Chipotle-eating man and Snapchat went down as well.
But enough with the negative, because what that really means is we've got a solid group of eight hiiilarious moments to choose from this round. Go forth and vote, grasshoppers.
