If only we could've been a splatter of fake blood on those walls.

Lady Gaga revealed in February that she joined Ryan Murphy's latest project American Horror Story: Hotel, and it looks like the star decided to throw a little get together for her castmates!

Well, except that it was anything but little, and she definitely got into the theme. There was a bloody pool! OK, it wasn't actual blood, but it's the thought that counts.

"A bloody pool for the cast, sorry #AHSfans, there's few pictures. At my parties, killer friends have more fun, when no evidence is left behind," Gaga wrote with a photo of the set-up on Instagram.

Mother Monster also shared a photo of herself looking glamorous in a low-cut dazzling dress, with her hair in soft curls.

The night seemed to be unforgettable, according to Murphy's tweets after the fact:

Then it was back to work as Gaga posted a picture of her AHS: Hotel script with the caption, "I love being an actress."

Gaga will star opposite Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, Finn Wittrock, Denis O'Hare, Chloe Sevigny and more. And from what we learned about her role, it sounds pretty amazing.

"[Gaga] willl play a character who has relationships with Angela and Matt ," the AHS mastermind told reporters at TCA.

"She's playing the owner of the hotel. A wealthy social doyenne. She's consumed with art and fashion and people, and she has a nefarious plan that is revealed in the first episode. She starts working on Monday."

And it seems like she hit it out of the park. Or hotel. Whatever.

American Horror Story: Hotel premieres Wednesday, Oct. 7 on FX.
