At just 12 years old, Anna Kendrick was already a bona fide star!

Sure, she may have come a long way since her early days as a child star on the Broadway stage, but the beloved actress has seen her name in lights way longer than a New York minute.

Want the proof? Well, check out the above photo of a young Miss Kendrick at the Tony Awards back in June of 1998.

The pre-teen was nominated for her role as Dinah in the hit High Society—making her the third-youngest Tony Award nominee, no less—and even nabbed a Theatre World Award for her eye-catching performance.

And while many actors who start at an early age may hit some turbulence on the way to adulthood, there seems to be no stopping the undeniably talented Kendrick.

E! News recently caught up with the Pitch Perfect actress who chatted about turning the big 3-0.

"I felt like when I turned 29, I was like, 'Well that's basically 30,'" she shared on the red carpet premiere of the sequel to the mega-successful flick.

"So I've been sort of saying that I'm 30 for a year so it's gonna be an easy transition."

And when asked if she had any big party plans up her sleeve for the milestone occasion, she dished, "F--k that, I'm not doing a birthday party!"

F-bombs and all, Kendrick is a girl after our own heart!
