Add Emily Blunt to the very long list of people who have the hots for…Charlize Theron.
The Into the Woods star and the Oscar winner just wrapped The Huntsman, the sequel to the 2012 hit Snow White and the Huntsman.
"It was so much fun," Blunt told me last night at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's grants banquet at the Beverly Wilshire hotel. "I loved working with all those people and Charlize is my new girl crush, for sure."
Blunt's hubby John Krasinski chimed in, "She's my new girl crush, too. She said I'm allowed to say that."
That doesn't mean Theron is Krasinki's hall pass. "You don't have a pass yet," Blunt said. "We'll discuss that later."
Blunt plays Theron's "evil younger sister" in the fairy tale flick. "It was a total queen-off," Blunt said. "There were two crowns on set and you don't want that."
Chris Hemsworth returns to the movie as the title character. Rounding out the cast are Jessica Chastain and Sam Claflin. Universal Pictures has set the movie's release for April 22, 2016. (Universal Pictures and E! Online are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
Blunt and Krasinski were among the guests at Theron's house last week for her 40th birthday party. The two were spotted causally dressed and arriving to the bash with a present in hand.
