Just over a year ago, a beautiful bride said "I do" to her real-life Prince Charming at Disneyland.
Instead of swapping vows in front of Cinderella's castle, Keri and Tony got married at Space Mountain. They promised to love and cherish one another in sickness and in health—and when Keri was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer, that's exactly what they did.
Fortunately for these newlyweds, though, this #KeriStrong bride kicked cancer's butt! That made it all the more special on Wednesday when she returned to Space Mountain cancer-free.
Thanks to Disney Weddings, the couple got to celebrate their first year of marriage and Keri's health with VIP access to Tomorrowland. White Rabbit Photo Boutique's Jenna Henderson, who captured Keri and Tony's wedding day last July, came along to document their second major Space Mountain milestone.
Jenna, a preferred vendor for Disney Weddings, was in awe of this particular bride. "The amazing thing about Keri, is that she kept positive throughout the entire year," the photographer wrote on her blog. "When her friends and family use the hashtag #keristrong, they weren't kidding."
Keri and Tony's photographer was honored to photograph the couple again, and she also appreciated that the Space Mountain Crew "threw in a little extra pixie dust for these two" for their return visit!
Congratulations to the bride and groom—may you have good health and live happily ever after!
