Watch: E! Looks Back at Henry Cavill in 2003!

Before he was putting on those smashing blue tights and red cape and pretending to save the world, Henry Cavill was mesmerizing people with his luscious, wavy, flowing hair.

The 32-year-old British Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star rocked quite a different look 12 years ago, and as seen in our throwback interview with him, it was quite distracting indeed.

Cavill discussed the musical film Little Red Riding Hood with co-star Joey Fatone on the set in 2003. In the movie, which was released straight to DVD in the United States in 2006, Cavill played the Hunter while the 'N Sync alum portrayed the Big Bad Wolf. Cavill also rocked long locks in the 2006 movie Tristan + Isolde and the 2007 fantasy film Stardust.

In his interview with E! News, Cavill said he agreed to star in Red Riding Hood because it was a "nice, light-hearted, relaxed, fun movie," which was different from the types of projects he'd worked on before. He also gave kudos to Fatone.

Cavill can be seen next in Guy Ritchie's new action-comedy film, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., which is set for release on Friday.
