Pretty Little Liars fans, you might want to go back and watch a season four episode.

Why? Because it actually gives away A's identity! While one of TV's most infamous tormentors was finally unmasked in the ABC Family hit's midseason finale on Tuesday night, showrunner Marlene King told E! News that (Spoiler Alert!) Cece Drake (Vanessa Ray) was first revealed as A in the episode "Crash and Burn, Girl!"

The episode, which aired on July 23, 2013, dealt with the fallout from the crash in the season three finale, with King explaining, "It's after the big fire at the lodge and they think they see Ali and someone flew in that plane—and now we know it was Sara Harvey—but we literally say in an episode that the plane was rented by Cece Drake."

Yep, that was actually the first reveal of A's identity!

Before writing the midseason finale, "Game Over, Charles," King "went back and watched all of Cece's scene of the show, saying, "There are clues that are dropped so many times, like going back I was like we are so bold. I can't believe we are doing this!"

When we chatted with King after the season five finale, which revealed A's name was Charles DiLaurentis, she spilled that there were two other candidates up for the title of the show's Big Bad before she decided on Cece back in season three.

So is she ready to spill who the other two potential A's were? Nope! "I feel like that story may come up in future episodes, but not as A but as a villain," King teased.

Pretty Little Liars returns January 2016 on ABC Family.
