We are fully aware that vampire shows on TV have some pretty strong fan followings. Have you tried talking to a Vampire Diaries viewer about Nina Dobrev's departure from the show? Let's just say we didn't warn you.
But even with dedicated fans, we decided to rank the nine best vampire TV shows of all time.
We kicked things off with a throwback to 2006 and the short-lived fantasy called Blade: The Series. Based on the Marvel comic character, the Spike show followed the vampire hunter during his quest for blood.
Perhaps viewers will recognize more recent shows like The Originals. The CW series tells the story of the first vampires to ever walk the face of the earth. And yes, even they were all about melodramatic fights.
