Well, now the comedian is getting a taste of the same experience from a different perspective. The blond beauty and fellow funnywoman Vanessa Bayer attended a photo call for the film Dating Queen at the Ritz Carlton today in Berlin with their pal Judd Apatow.
And it presented the perfect opportunity.
While strutting the red carpet, Bayer took it upon herself to recreate the iconic moment first delivered by her gal-pal, and fell on the floor in front of Apatow and Schumer. Meanwhile, the Trainwreck star gave off a bothered facial expression whlie Apatow just kinda looked like he wasn't sure what was happening (pretty similar to Kanye's face, actually).
While walking the carpet at the Time 100 Gala in NYC back in April, the 33-year-old comedian purposely face-planted right in front of Kimye as the photographers snapped away. So what did the famous couple think of the Comedy Central star's hilarious stunt?
"I talked to them. They were like, 'What?' Kim was worried for me, and I think Kanye was just, like, scared that I was doing something," the Inside Amy Schumer star told People. "They were really sweet. Kim was really funny. She goes, 'Oh my god, I was like, does this girl need help?' She was like, 'That was really funny.'"
As for how Schumer came up with the idea to prank Kimye, she told the mag, "I saw them, and I asked my publicist, 'Can I dive in front of them and act like I fell?' And she said, 'I can't stop you.'"
"I just dove right down," Schumer added. "They were right there! The epicenter of America. Gotta do it. It was the best."
It really was.
