The Bachelor and The Bachelorette alum announced the birth of her newborn son Jennings Tyler with husband Tyler Johnson just a little over a week ago. The little one's name was reportedly revealed via Twitter by proud new uncle Austin Johnson. Jennings is only a few days old, but he and his big sister seem absolutely inseparable in a photo Maynard recently shared on Instagram.
In the adorable shot, 10-year-old Riki cuddles with her baby brother, who is sporting the cutest striped onesie. "best buddies already. yall my heart is going to explode," the proud mama captioned the sweet photo.
When her littlest bundle of joy was born, Maynard shared an intimate moment between mother and son. "God is good," she wrote. "My heart can't even handle it."
Back in May, the 28-year-old opened up to North Carolina-based TV station WCCB about bringing a second life into the world after losing her fiancé, NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick, in a 2004 plane crash when she was pregnant with her daughter.
"The most different thing for me will be having Tyler here to help. I raised Ricki by myself and it's just been the two of us for so long," she revealed. "I'm just really excited to be present. When Ricki was born, it was a really hard time in my life, and I was so young that I really don't think I enjoyed it or soaked it in as much as I wish I could have."
