She's swapped back and forth between blond and brunette locks before, but this is the first time Ashley Tisdale has ventured into redhead territory. Debuting the strawberry tint on Instagram today, the High School Musical alum shared: "I've never been this color before, @kristin_ess made me a ‘strawberry bronde'!"
Of course the actress would turn to Kristin Ess, who is a master of hair color, especially the in-between shades—Just ask Debby Ryan!
For her new show, Ashley returns to TV for the new TBS comedy, Clipped, in which she takes on the role as a gal working in a barbershop. Perhaps her new strawberry-bronde ‘do has something to do with her new character's affinity for haircare, or maybe Ash was just ready for a late summer hair upgrade inspired by the now-redheaded Scarlett Johansson.
Strawberry, blond and brunette hair shades all in one? It may sound more like a Neapolitan ice cream dish than a hair color, but on Ashley the new hair shade is just as sweet as the summery dessert.
