Whatever the reasons for their split may be, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton appear to have put their differences aside and have banded together one more...to help a friend.

The two exchanged tweets on Friday, four days after they announced their divorce, to promote mutual friend and country singer Ashley Monroe's third studio album The Blade, which was released that day.

"Hey @mirandalambert can u believe there's people who haven't bought @ashleymonroe new album?" Shelton, 39, said on Twitter. "Isn't that shocking?!!"

"@blakeshelton no I can't because it is the best work she has ever done!" Lambert, 31, replied three minutes later. "I love it! We love you @ashleymonroe."

"Yes we do!!" Shelton added.

Monroe, 28, responded to both of them on Twitter.

"Awwww THANKS GUYS," she said. "Love you both."

One fan tweeted at Shelton that he thought all three tweets were scheduled in advance, to which the Voice coach replied, "Nope.. Not at all buddy."

It didn't stop there and it got a little weird.

Lambert tweeted a link to a screenshot of a paparazzi video showing Shelton, accompanied by a friend, pushing a baby stroller containing a pink blanket and placing it into an SUV on Friday.

"I knew it....You WERE pregnant!" she said. "This calls for a drink!"

"Ha!!!!! Busted..." Shelton replied. "I wasn't JUST a fat ass. Drinking shall now begin..."

One fan was not amused.

"Losing respect because of this whole charade," the person tweeted at him.

"Well rest assured not one s--t is given..." Shelton replied.

Lambert and Shelton met in 2005 and wed in 2011. The Voice coach filed for divorce earlier this month.

In a joint statement, the two said, "This is not the future we envisioned and it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately."
