Long before Selena Gomez became a worldwide pop star, the singer got her start on Barney & Friends back in the early 2000s.
E! News has obtained a flashback clip, courtesy of the 22 Vision Vault, in which the brunette beauty, who is celebrating her 23rd birthday today, is singing with Barney 12 years ago.
While the former Disney star may now be known for her hit tunes, her movie career and her on-again-off-again relationship with Justin Bieber, we can't deny just how adorable the Stars Dance stunner looks in the 2003 clip with her pigtail braids and denim overalls.
Safe to say she was meant for stardom!
This week has been a big one for Gomez thus far—not only is she ringing in the big 2-3, but she also seemingly announced her new album title and its release date by posting a video of herself on Instagram which sees her scrawling "Revival 10.9" on a piece of paper.
Her BFF Taylor Swift also retweeted a Billboard article about the album title, seemingly confirming the mystery moniker.
But that wasn't all Swift had to say about her bestie on her special day! In honor of the occasion, the "Shake It Off" singer tweeted an adorable photo collage featuring pics from the pair's longtime friendship.
"Happy 23rd Birthday, @selenagomez. I can't believe it's been 7 years since we met!! I love you so much, always," she wrote.
