As one would most likely presume, Latino rapper Pitbull is no fan of Donald Trump.

Following the presidential hopefuls controversial comments about Mexican immigrants, the 34-year-old musician, whose parents are Cuban, was asked to share his thoughts on the 69-year-old businessman, who he says is spewing hate in order to create headlines.

"Donald Trump doesn't become Donald Trump by being ignorant," the Miami native said in an interview on Fusion's America with Jorge Ramos. "He may have a big ego – we've all know that for years. What I think is that he found a button that he likes, and he sees that he got people mad and hot and he's gonna keep pushing it."

Asked if he would ever stay in one of Trump's hotels, the rapper responded, "Due to what's been said, I wouldn't be able to go to his hotels. I can't, just for the simple fact that you're talking about a culture that I ride, I die for. This culture is the only reason I'm having this conversation right now."

Later this week, Pitbull made his stance on the subject even more clear when he took the stage at Thursday's Premios Juventad Awards ceremony, presented by Univision, the Spanish-language broadcaster that cut ties with Trump's Miss Universe organization "based on his recent, insulting remarks about Mexican immigrants."

After calling upon other presidential candidates, such as Hilary Clinton and Jeb Bush, to step it up in the election race, the rapper issued a warning for the business magnate.

"Watch out for El Chapo," he said as the audience erupted in applause, referring to notorious Mexican drug lord Joaquín Guzmán Loera, who escaped from jail last week (and then later threatened Trump).
