While the popular San Diego festival has been known to feature more than a few questionable outfits, our attention immediately went to Courtney Stodden and Boy Meets World star Maitland Ward for their revealing looks.
So, where do we even begin? We'll start things off with Stodden who decided to dress up as Captain Marvel using mostly body paint. While wearing red leather gloves, matching knee-high boots and even a red waist sash, the 20-year-old tried to persuade attendees to go vegan as she passed out PETA vegan starter kit pamphlets.
"Honored & privileged to have teamed up with @OfficialPeta today in order to spread animal awareness at ComicCon," she wrote on Instagram. "Be a superhero for animals too…go vegan!"
But wait, there's more! Ward also decided to pick up some body paint to complete her Comic-Con look. Instead of representing a charity, however, the actress simply wanted to wow passerbys with her attire.
"Day 2…The first Redhead Orion Slave Girl," she wrote on Instagram while wearing head-to-toe green body paint. "#StarTrek #ComicCon #SDCC."
When the weekend festivities first began, Ward opted for a classic and perfectly reasonable "Ginger Woman" costume based on Wonder Woman. But once the sun went down, the 38-year-old went braless when she attended Comic-Con's Crave Escape party.
Complete with ripped jeans and a sheer top (hello nipples!), Ward wasn't afraid to see and be seen during her late-night out.
"@MaitlandWard definitely needs to do a Mystique costume next! #HotNerd #ComicCon," one of her Twitter followers suggested Monday afternoon. "I want to do that!" Ward answered.
Well, we guess there's always next year.
