It's back to work for Prince William!

The royal began his new job as an East Anglian Air Ambulance pilot, but just like anybody else, he was suffering from first-day jitters.

"It's my first day and I'm feeling the nerves," he told reporters. "We're starting off on a wet Cambridge day, but I'm really looking forward to getting started."

Although he was a tad nervous, the Duke of Cambridge dished that he was ready to start this next chapter of his career. "It's been a lot of effort and patience in training but we're here now and I'm looking forward to doing the job."

"It's sort of a follow-on from where I was in the military with my search and rescue role," he added. "There are many of the same kind of skills and a job like this is very worthwhile, valuable and there's an element of duty. It's an important area for me to be involved in to continue my career and training."

Now that he's back on the work grind, Prince William admitted that it's going to be a juggle trying to balance fatherhood, royal duties and his new job, but he's hoping it will make him a more "grounded" person.

"For me it's a really important point to be grounded. I feel doing a job like this really helps me to be grounded and that's the core of what I'm trying to become," he said. "I'm trying to be a good guy, to do what I can and trying to be a decent individual."

Even his two children, Princess Charlotte and Prince George, have help him learn more responsibility! Now that his son is almost two years old, Wills confessed that he has been a bit of a handful.

"At the same time there is a lot of responsibility especially when George is around—he's been a little monkey," he told reporters. "It's no more difficult than what everyone else has to do."

Charlotte, however, has been picture perfect! "It's been fantastic, she's been a little joy from heaven," he gushed.

So cute! But are he and wife Kate Middleton planning on having more?

"It is fantastic having a lovely little family and I am so thrilled. And Catherine has been doing an amazing job as a mother and I'm very proud of her," he said. "We've only just had the second one. You never know what is going to happen in the future."

That isn't a no!
