The star power for Empire season two just keeps on growing with Marisa Tomei!

Fox's breakout hit drama just cast the Oscar winner in a major season two role, and it's sure to bring some big drama for the Lyon family. As if they didn't have enough to deal with, since Lucious (Terrence Howard) is still behind bars!

E! News has confirmed that Tomei has landed the recurring role of Mimi Whiteman on the hip hop music business drama. A Forbes list billionairess, Mimi is a lover of hip hop music, social trends, high-end fashion...and beautiful women.

Other major stars joining Empire next season are Magic Mike XXL's Adam Rodriguez as a new love interest for Cookie as well as Chris Rock, Lenny Kravitz, and Alicia Keys who have all booked guest starring roles.

Season two has been increased from 12 to 18 episodes and will be split between fall and winter, unlike the first season which premiered in the winter.
