Anna Camp, True Blood

Please take off your shoes.

Why? Because we don't trust Anna Camp around footwear! It's not the actress' fault, but her fan favorite True Blood character Sarah Newlin's, who infamously killed someone with her high heel last season. Of course, it was awesome, so we were absolutely delighted to see Sarah, with a new brunette 'do, return in last week's episode.

But we probably weren't as delighted as the revenge-seeking Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) was to learn that Jason's (Ryan Kwanten) former flame was still alive.

We chatted with Camp about Sarah's surprising return and why she, sadly, won't be committing murder via footwear this time around.

"All I can say about Sarah is that she's on the run," the Pitch Perfect 2 star said of Sarah Newlin when we see her next. "She's got Pam and Eric hunting her basically and the Yakuza…this season is all about survival. We're going to see what it's really like when she's pushed to the end of her rope."

Does this mean we'll get another scene that can match their epicness of Sarah straight-up murderin' someone with her stiletto?

"No! [Laughs.]  This season, Sarah's gone Buddhist," Camp said. "I think she's left all of high heels in Texas."

But that doesn't mean we won't see Sarah get into another battle, whether she likes it or not., now that Eric and Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) are hunting her down.

"Maybe, we'll see what happens if they cross paths," Camp teased of a big showdown between Sarah and Eric and Pam. "I can't say too much, but there will be some really fun scenes that hopefully people will be on the edge of their seats about."

Already there, sister.

True Blood airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO.
