Even 30 years after Footloose's release, Kevin Bacon still has some of the best moves around.

The 55-year-old actor stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday night but some trouble brewed from the get-go.

"I should quickly mention that dancing has been outlawed here at The Tonight Show," Jimmy Fallon informed the audience.

Naturally, this did not sit well The Following star, who was in his dressing room, and he did not come out when the late-night host called his name.

"Dancing is illegal," Bacon, who portrayed Ren McCormack in the iconic film, uttered in complete disbelief.

But that just can't be. There has to be dancing.

So, Bacon appropriately busted out a cassette tape of "Never," smoked a cigarette, whipped out a bottle of beer and then hurled it into the wall. A similar sequence of events unfolded during the unforgettable and classic warehouse scene. Even the close-up shot of his white sneakers moving to the beat.

He grooved and shimmied down the Tonight Show hallways, took off his gray sweatshirt—some ladies swooned—and performed an intricate routine on some gymnastic bars.

"Let's daaaaance!" he exclaimed, as "Footloose" began playing.

Clad in a maroon jacket and bowtie, Bacon made his way to the stage with his colorful dancing entourage.

Cue the confetti and everybody cut, everybody cut.
