Jillian Michaels, Bob Harper, Biggest Loser

Her face said it all, but Jillian Michaels is finally breaking her silence on The Biggest Loser winner Rachel Frederickson's shocking transformation.

Though her fellow trainer Bob Harper weighed in on Frederickson's headline-making 155-pound weight loss, admitting he was "stunned," Michaels had remained silent on the NBC reality hit's controversy. Until now.

"I was stunned," she said during an interview with HuffPost Live. "I thought she had lost too much weight."

Michaels also called into question the NBC reality hit's "checks and balances" that are put into place to help the contestants after they leave the show. (A source has told us that the show is considering "small but significant tweaks" after the controversy.)

"We are allowed to speak with our contestants after they go home...but no one had told me, 'Hey, Rachel is very, very thin.' Bob and I had no idea. Nobody had told us, nobody had said anything to us, so yes, I was stunned," Michaels, who was not Frederickson's trainer, explained. "Obviously, I thought she had lost too much weight and I was immediately concerned and wondering how this happened, how no one had said something to me and how the checks and balances that have been put into place, in my opinion, this had fallen through those checks and balances."

After the controversy surrounding Frederickson drop from 160 pounds to 105 pounds, Dolvett Quince, her trainer on the show, weighed in via his Facebook page.

"Biggest Loser is a journey which has its ups and downs. Please try not to look at one slice of Rachel's journey and come to broad conclusions," he wrote. "Rachel's health is, and always has been, my main concern and her journey to good health has not yet ended!!"

Frederickson recently appeared on Today and defended her weight loss journey.

"I did work so hard for the finale and for finding myself again. I felt amazing on the stage. I felt like I shined in my dress," she said. "I got off the stage and Twitter was all abuzz. There was just so much chatter about it."

Saying she followed a healthy plan to lose the weight, Frederickson added, "I appreciate all the concern and I can see where it comes from, and there is movie magic. It's almost seven months, almost a year of my life, losing the weight."
