Prince Harry, Alexander Skarsgard

Being a tour guide seems to have its perks.

After completing the 208-mile trek to the South Pole, Prince Harry and True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard (and their scruff!) were welcomed by U.S. Antarctic Program personnel on site with a tour of the National Science Foundation's Amundsen-Scott South Pole station over the weekend.

Could you imagine conducting a tour with two handsome fellas like that in your group? What a distraction!

Both stars participated in an international, charitable trek across Antarctica as part of the Walking With the Wounded charity event.

The 29-year-old royal, along with his fellow Walking With the Wounded team members, arrived at the South Pole on Friday, Dec. 13, after their 208-mile trek, which began on Dec. 2. "Huge congratulations to all on the @supportthewalk expedition with Prince Harry- they arrived at the South Pole at 13.25 GMT #SouthPole2013," the official Clarence House Twitter posted.

Three teams—Soldier On (Australia and Canada), Soldiers to Summit (United States of America) and Walking With the Wounded (United Kingdom), which was led by Prince Harry—took part in the charity event.

Originally, the American, British and Commonwealth teams were competing against each other, but the expedition director announced that the event would no longer be a race and the teams would instead be going at their own pace due to weather conditions.

Walking With the Wounded is a U.K. charity that helps retrain and reeducate wounded servicemen and women to help them find long term employment after they have left the Armed Forces. Harry currently serves as patron of the charity.
