Kings of Leon's Nathan Followill "Amazed" by His Baby Girl Violet

Musician and wife welcomed their first child together Wednesday

Nathan Followill is totally smitten with his baby girl.

The new dad hit twitter to gush over his daughter Violet Marlowe, who was born Wednesday in Nashville, Tenn. 

"Day 2 with baby Violet & I'm still amazed at how beautiful she is," Followill tweeted Friday. "Thank you ‪@JessieBaylin 4 this gift, you're my champion & I love you." 

Followill's wife, Jessie Baylin, also chimed in the day before, tweeting, "I have spent the past 24 hours falling madly in love with my daughter Violet... life has just begun."

This is the first child for the couple, who wed in 2009.
