Madonna's tour merch is apparently causing a commotion.

Sex and the City costumer Patricia Field is accusing the Material Girl of selling knockoffs of some "Vogue" snapback hats she specially designed and sells on her website as part of merchandise the pop star has been offering on her current MDNA trek.

And by the title of a post on Field's Tumblr page, "Madonna Stole Our Vogue Hats!!,"  the Emmy-winning film and TV stylist is none too thrilled about it.

"Our own Patricia Field stylist, Hiraku, designed the snap back and we sell it as a t-shirt, headband and a beanie as well. They've been going like hotcakes here at the store and have become a staple of the Patricia Field brand this year," reads the post by a Field employee named Andy.

"We get requests to send them to clients everywhere worldwide and people ask for them by name when they come into the store."

The note adds: "I don't really have anything else to say but…Madonna is a thief! Do you really need an extra few thousand dollars? Shame, shame for stealing from those that inspire you!"

After posting pics of "Vogue" hats they sell next to photos of the purported rip-offs that the singer was supposedly peddling at Madison Square Garden, Andy then asks readers to weigh in on whether Field & Co. are being too sensitive about it.

Many of the commenters subsequently sided with Madonna, pointing out that aside from popularizing the Vogue craze with her hit of the same name, the Queen of Pop has been selling similar hats dating back to her 1990 Blonde Ambition tour.

A rep for Madonna was unavailable for comment.
