Katie Holmes, Blake Lively and Olivia Wilde: Best and Worst of the 12-12-12 Concert for Sandy Relief

Well, at least Hurricane Sandy victims came out looking good.

The good news is that a whole bunch of Hurricane Sandy victims are about to get a lot of money. The bad news is that Zosia Mamet has escaped from Briarcliff again.

How do we know? Well, a slew of celebs dressed up nicely—with a few exceptions—and came together for the 12-12-12 concert to raise money to help victims of that recent frankenstorm.

Observe Katie Holmes, who appears to be back in form after several months of being out-fashionista-ed by a 6 year old. Love the electric purple color. Love the variation of texture. Love the cut, but then again, we always love a Tom Ford cut. We even like the Tom Ford ankle-strap shoes with the padlock, cutesy and overexposed as they are.

Olivia Wilde looked equally sleek in a black ensemble featuring a sweet leather jacket. But it was Blake Lively who stole the yowza in a sky-high stretch-leather tangerine number by Isabel Marant. The shoes? Louboutins, of course.

But not every star shone for Sandy relief.

Chelsea Clinton, for example, arrived dressed for a wedding brunch that did not exist. And while Martha Stewart's tent-like top was OK, we guess, the shirt could have been a little less billowy, especially since it was paired with skinny leather pants.

Then came the Zosia. We have no quarrel with flat oxfords and never have, but paired with the shirt and that scowl, it's definitely time to call in Sister Jude.
