So the show may have been a total snoozefest this year (with the exception of J.Lo's rumored wardrobe mishap, of course), but leave it to the swanky parties in H'Wood for some serious post-show goss.

And it should come as no surprise this year's Maxim late-night party in the Hollywood Hills attracted T-Town's most notorious party boys.

So, how many chickies were hanging by Wilmer Valderrama's side (now that he and Demi Lovato are dunzo) and who did Brody Jenner share a shot with? (Hint: They both have Avril Lavigne in common.)

Let's just say this was not your average Oscar party.

For starters? Avril Lavigne's ex-hubby Deryck Whibley got super chatty with none other than Avril's ex-BF, Brody Jenner.

Umm, awkward much? Apparently not so, as the twosome greeted each other with a huge hug then hit the bar together to order shots and bond over their mutual gal.

"At least you can have fun now," Deryck was overheard saying to Brody at the bar.

What a not-so-subtle diss to the punk rock babe, no?

Oh well, leave it to a Maxim soiree for these playboys to find a new party pal—even if they did date (or marry) the same complicated broad…

And across the packed party (where Ludacris performed a set for a mob of dancing party goers), Wilmer Valderamma, who was also all smiles this weekend at the Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday, shared a booth with fellow ladies man Maksim Chmerkovskiy

Mr. V had at least four or five babes by his side at all times, but was rocking a too-cool-for-school ‘tude the whole night, spending more time bopping to the DJ and texting than flirting.

And we're fairly surprised Wilmer seemed rather bored with the sexy gals vying for his attention. Guess the dude's not totally returning to his womanizer ways post-split with Demi Lovato.

Then again, maybe he's simply waiting until BFF Joe Jonas (and Dem's other ex) is by his side to get his full-blown party on, no?
