It's no surprise that Whitney Houston is on everybody's mind tonight at the NAACP Image Awards.

Read on to find out what some of your favorite stars just told us on the red carpet...

"I'm devastated," said Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child. "I don't want it to be true."

Williams said she will be in New Jersey tomorrow at the funeral. "I'm there to support the family and to pay my respects to Whitney Houston and praying for absolute strength and peace for her family," she said

Like so many, Garcelle Beauvais thought it was a hoax when she heard the news. "I just kept on checking the blogs and I went on Twitter and I saw it and thought, Oh, my God," she said. "Complete and utter shock. It's so sad."

Beauvais smiled when talking about running into Houston over the years. "Every time I saw her she gave me the biggest hugs," she remembered. "It was really sweet."

Houston's music was more than just hit songs to Tatyana Ali. "I grew up in New York dancing and singing in theater and I learned how to sing singing her songs and auditioning to her songs," she said. "I feel like everything I know about love and relationships and self love come from her music."

Ali also said, "She started giving of herself at 19 and for this to be the end? It's just enough already. This keeps happening over and over again and I think the industry needs to start taking care of its people."

We couldn't agree more.
