Call it the first big, Smash-ing twist of our favorite new series!

Last night, NBC's musical-sensation drama revealed who won the part of Marilyn Monroe on the Broadway-show-within-a-TV-show. But will this surprising casting stick?

Plus, it's Valentine's Day, so what's the latest for fan-favorite couple Charlotte and Cooper on Private Practice? The love triangle on Hart of Dixie? MILF-lovin' Puckerman on Glee?

Get in here for the latest scoop...

NBC

Nellamazing: I can't believe Megan Hilty won the role of Marilyn in last night's Smash! I love her but c'mon! How can you not root for Kat McPhee?! This is going to change, right?
There are still plenty of twists and turns ahead! In April, Uma Thurman is set to guest star, and I'm told that she is brought in as the "movie star" who comes in and yoinks a major role away! Whattaya wanna bet it's Marilyn? Kind of a stretch (literally) given her so-not-Marilyn body type but should be a faaascinating storyline nonetheless. In the meantime, what did you think of the casting of Ivy over Karen? Did the right girl get it? Or was it all about the casting couch? Monty: Loving Smash! But I don't trust Tom's assistant. He's going to be trouble, isn't he?
Oh, yeah. Ellis (Jaime Cepero) and Julia (Debra Messing) will continue to brutally butt heads, but we're happy to report that the lowly assistant will grow a backbone and stand up to her belittling eventually. And then he steals something very important to both Julia and the show. Whoops. Hey, most the drama takes place behind the curtain, ya know?

Michael, in Boulder Colo.: Please please gimme anything you have on Community!
We just hit the set and can tell you that despite any schedule-shuffling hullaballoo, the show is most definitely still in production and going stronger than ever. "This is the good timeline," Ken Jeong insists, "this isn't the darkest timeline this is the brightest timeline. Just expect the best, expect some stuff to blow your minds." Ahhh, cant wait!

Carla in Houston: Whatcha got on Glee?!
The claws are coming out in Lima, and nope we're not talking about the stress of Regionals. We're talking about cougars. Reow! That's right, there's gonna be a hot momma on the prowl and our money's on Noah Puckerman to fall into her lair.

ABC

Nelson: Anything on Charlotte and Cooper on Private Practice?! I love those two!
Well then, a little Valentine's Day gift to you: Their love life is steaming up again! When I asked Paul Adelstein if the pair would have any kinky romance ahead again, he told me: "We actually just read a script where that is actually a point that is made between them: ‘What happened to our sex life?' So they try to get that back." And we toootally will be watching! Sorry, did that make us sound pervy? If so, we'll put down the night-vision goggles, too. Stand by for more PP scoop from the set this week!

Clarissa: So excited for Breaking In to return! Any scoop?
Remember when Cash stalked George Lucas last season? Well, he has not reined in his fanboy antics at all for season two. Alphonso McAuley recently told us that Cash just might be stalking the one and only James Cameron in season two. That will probably go over real well. Psych!

Vanessa: Love Molly Shannon on Up All Night! Is she going to come back?
We posted that same question to the woman herself! "I have no idea. I'm just happy to have done the two," she gushes to us. "Of course I would love to do another one. But it's like, whatever they want for their show. They have a lot of characters to write for." Well, they can always make room for Crazy Nancy, right?

HOUSE: Our Wish List for the Remaining Episodes

@hollyelizabeth3 Hart of Dixie scoop, please?
We can tell you Zoe (Rachel Bilson) will be smooching someone when Scotty McCreery comes to town and, don't hyperventilate, it's not Scotty. He's just set to sing on the show. It's another fine young man we adore who'll be playing tonsil hockey with the lovely doc!
