Go Ahead, Feel Russell Brand's "Furry Walls"

The edgy comic isn't just playing a singer in the movies, he's actually making a CD

Not content to simply marry a pop star or play one in a movie, Russell Brand here channels his inner rock star with the band Infant Sorrow on the suggestive little tune "Furry Walls." Yep, that's him and the band from Get Me to the Greek. But they're also a real band, releasing a real album with Russell singing. It's hooky and hummable pop rock that's blatantly sexual and silly at the same time. That'll work. But does it work well enough to be a hit?

Well, we've gotta say, the tune cleans up real nice. Evidence: former teeny-boppin' rockers Hanson are covering the song.

________

Maybe Russell and Infant Sorrow can be the wedding band when he gets hitched to his pop-star sweetie, if he isn't already.
