Well, kind of.
While the final results won't be in until Aug. 9, when the Teen Choice 2010 Awards are handed out on Fox, the first of three waves of nominees were revealed this morning and the werewolf-centric movie is surprisingly not the leader of the pack.
While The Twilight Saga: New Moon and GLEE both nabbed an impressive five nominations for the awards show, it was Iron Man 2 and Gossip Girl that dominated the nominees—but only just—with six nods apiece.
But don't cry for the stars just yet.
In addition to their collective nod for Choice Movie: Fantasy, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner each nabbed individual honors for their acting prowess (R.Pattz and Lautner will once again compete against each other for the award), while the combined forces that comprise Robsten each scored additional acting nods for their non-Twilight roles.
Stewart is also up for Choice Movie Actress: Drama for her role in The Runaways—a category in which she'll incidentally be up against costar Dakota Fanning—while Pattinson is up for Choice Movie Actor: Drama in addition to his Fantasy nod for his part in Remember Me.
In other Twihard news, Rachelle Lefevre earned a Choice Movie: Villain nod for her swan song as the vampire baddie Victoria.
Other stars scoring multiple nods were Zoe Saldana—who earned three individual honors for Avatar, Death at a Funeral and The Losers—Kristen Bell, Steve Carell, Sam Worthington, Tina Fey, Rachel McAdams, Jake Gyllenhaal, Channing Tatum, Sandra Bullock, Amanda Seyfried, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Miley Cyrus and Ashton Kutcher.
On the TV side, Gossip Girl and GLEE took the lead, with nods for stars Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, Lea Michele, Jane Lynch and Cory Monteith.
True Blood's Anna Paquin and Ryan Kwanten redressed the small screen vampiric balance, while Lost also nabbed some final season honors for the show as a whole, as well as for Josh Holloway, Terry O'Quinn and Evangeline Lilly (not everything's about Jack).
On the music side, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Adam Lambert, Eminem, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, the GLEE cast, Selena Gomez, Carrie Underwood and Ke$ha dominated the nods.
The sporty nominees proved you don't have to be active to be honored, as injured David Beckham made the cut for Choice Athlete of the Year.
Meanwhile, E!'s own talent pool dipped a foot into the proceedings, as Keeping Up With the Kardashians netted nominations for Choice TV: Reality Show and a collective nod for the Kardashian clan (minus Bruce, apparently) for Choice TV: Female Reality/Variety Star.
As for Choice Comedian, our own Chelsea Handler will compete for the honor against Aziz Ansari, Ellen DeGeneres, Jimmy Fallon and George Lopez.
