Paula Abdul

Michael Becker / FOX

Paula Abdul is headed to Broadway.

No, she's not the new star of Shrek or Beauty and the Beast, but…

The former unpredictable American Idol judge will make her debut as a presenter at this Sunday's Tony Awards. She'll be hitting the stage dangerously solo to give out the award for best choreography.

The big show will broadcast live from New York City' Radio City Music Hall on CBS. No surprise, but Abdul's upcoming new dance competition show is also on CBS.

Some of our other fave bold-faced names expected to be at the Tonys include Scarlett Johansson, Cate Blanchett, and Sex and the City's Chris Noth with musical performances by Glee stars Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison and nominee Catherine Zeta-Jones.
