To civilians, being a judge on American Idol looks like nothing but fun and games and trading insults with Simon Cowell.

But the job is not without its challenges.

Though Didi Benami managed to make it into the top 10, offering advice to the Idol hopeful was no easy task for affable Ellen DeGeneres, whose attempt to wrap her tongue around Didi's dilemma fell somewhere between scat singing and a mutated chorus of "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah."

Fortunately, she does not sell seashells down by the seashore.
