The Princess and the Frog

Disney Enterprises Inc

Tiana's philosophy is "You've got to make your own fairytales come true."

And indeed she does.

In Disney's The Princess and the Frog, out on DVD and Blu-ray Tuesday, Tiana, a New Orleans waitress voiced by Tony winner Anika Noni Rose, reluctantly kisses a frog she'd rather smush than smooch, thereby embarking on an adventure that ultimately results in the Disney ending all would-be princesses dream of.

After the jump, check out an exclusive clip from the DVD bonus feature Disney's Newest Princess, which features Rose explaining why risking what's familiar—including, in this case, your reflection—to follow your dream maybe isn't such a crazy idea after all, in cartoons or real life.

Anika played a Disney princess, but who's going to tackle Brainy Smurf? Check out the answer in our Casting Couch gallery.
