Tiger Woods, Car Accident

Florida Highway Patrol

The Florida Highway Patrol is so 2009. While everyone else is buzzing about whether Tiger Woods is ready to return to the fairway, the Sunshine State's finest are reliving the salad days of Tiger's infidelity, releasing a new batch of reports detailing the morning of his image-killing car crash.

Most of it is been-there, knew-that, but it seems the mystery of whether or not Elin "Don't Blame Her" Nordegren rode with her busted-up hubby to the hospital has finally been solved.

And yes. The reports include a paramedic going on record with the phrase "domestic violence."

Of course, that's about as revealing as the documents get. While there were rumors that Nordegren was riding alongside Woods in the ambulance, the official paperwork reports otherwise.

Officers on the scene were told by a paramedic that Nordegren wanted to ride alongside Woods, but was prevented from accompanying him as the incident involved "domestic violence."

Woods has adamantly denied that his wife ever came after him. In his public address last month, he said:

"Some people have speculated that Elin somehow hurt or attacked me on Thanksgiving night. It angers me that people would fabricate a story like that. Elin has never hit me that night or any night. Elin has shown enormous grace and poise throughout this ordeal. Elin deserves praise, not blame. The issue involved here was my repeated irresponsible behavior. I was unfaithful, I had affairs, I cheated."

(While the phrase "doemstic violence" was inlcuded in the report, the paramedics were likely just covering all their bases in the event that domestic problems had contributed to the accident. No charges were ever filed, witnesses couldn't corroborate such claims and cops on the scene don't know why the paramedic even floated the theory.)

Meanwhile, the paperwork also describes the scene when paramedics arrived to treat Woods, noting that he was unconscious and laying on the ground covered by a blanket when they got there.

The report also confirms that Woods did not reek of alcohol, but that when asked about any possible medications the golfer was on, Nordegren produced two bottles of Vicodin that her husband had been taking. Police sought to subpoena blood samples from Woods' hospital run, but that request was denied.

As for any visible injuries, both officers and witnesses confirmed that Woods' lip was busted, but all described the damage as minor.

If only his reputation had fared as well.
