No skating for Sandra Bullock just because she's a frontrunner for Oscar gold tomorrow.
The veteran charmer, who had two slam dunks this year with The Blind Side and The Proposal, may soon join the polarity-achieving ranks of Halle Berry after being named Worst Actress of 2009 at the 30th Annual Golden Raspberry Awards, which dishonor the crummiest films the theaters had to offer last year, for playing a straggly-haired stalker in All About Steve.
And like Berry, an Oscar winner for Monster's Ball who showed up to claim her Razzie for Catwoman, Bullock sounded like she was looking forward to, if not making out with Meryl Streep on Razzie night, then at least being able to laugh at herself.
"I'm more comfortable with criticism than I am with goodwill, because I'm more familiar with it, and I've made friends with it," she told Entertainment Weekly. "And the Razzies are a great honor."
The object of her affection in the box office stinker, Bradley Cooper, didn't get off scot-free, either. The otherwise dashing duo shared the win for Worst Screen Couple, beating out New Moon's Robsten, Lautsten and any combination of JoBro.
All three Jonas Brothers shared in the "win" for Worst Actor of 2009, however, for their failure to, um, properly play themselves in Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience.
Billy Ray Cyrus also was lacking when it came to playing a version of himself, winning Worst Supporting Actor for playing his daughter's father in Hannah Montana: The Movie, and Sienna Miller took the female counterpart of that category for playing an unintentionally ridiculous villain in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.
It definitely wasn't the year for loud action blockbusters that involved the military and massive machinery.
All About Steve did not suck as much as Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, which was named Worst Picture of 2009, dragging Worst Director Michael Bay along for the ride.
Land of the Lost, the most dishonored flick heading into the night with seven nominations, wasn't even good enough to win these awards, walking away with only Worst Rip-Off, Remake or Sequel.
Stuck with the ignominious distinction of being the Worst Picture of the Decade was the John Travolta-championed spacey ode to Scientology Battlefield Earth.
Travolta did not go down with the ship, however, "losing" the title of Worst Actor of the Decade to the highly paid star of The Adventures of Pluto Nash, I Spy, Imagine That, Meet Dave, Norbit and Showtime: Eddie Murphy.
And though there are probably very few people who would call Paris Hilton an actress, she was named Worst Actress of the Decade for her oeuvre in the '00s, The Hottie & the Nottie, House of Wax and Repo: The Genetic Opera.
