Lady Gaga Granny Panties Prove Haters Wrong

Talking to Cosmo, the freakishly fashionable pop star says no one ever believed in her: "I ate s--t for so long"

Lady Gaga is April's Cosmo cover girl. It's nice to see the lady mag didn't make Gaga conform to their usual standard—tight little dress, impeccable extensions, chin down, flirty smile, sexy eyes, one hand on your hip and pose!

Nope, they let her do granny panties and tranny makeup, which is just different enough for our Gaga.

While the cover declares "Love Advice Only Gaga Would Give", the only quotes they have released to date are about a crappy ex-boyfriend she once had...

"I had a boyfriend who told me I'd never succeed, never be nominated for a Grammy, never have a hit song, and that he hoped I'd fail," she told the mag. "I said to him, 'Someday, when we're not together, you won't be able to order a cup of coffee a the f--king deli without hearing or seeing me.' "

And he's not the only one who didn't believe in her, some other people were mean to her too:

"I ate s--t for so long, being told I didn't fit the mold and that I was 'too pop' or 'too theater'...I've always been delusionally ambitious to the point where people don't understand me."

Yeah, well look at her now! She showed them! She's a free bitch, baby! Gaga for life! OK, we'll stop, it's just that the one-day-I'll-prove-them-wrong narrative is not that interesting. We prefer the more crazytown Gaga quotes, something more along the lines of:

"My friends joke that I'm dead until I get onstage," she says. "I'm dead right now as you're speaking to me."

Guess we'll have to wait until the issue hits newsstands March 9 to see if there's more where that came from. In the meantime, here's a Lady Gaga scarecrow.
