We could give you a list of all the trends to expect for fall 2010, but that's not what New York Fashion Week's really about, is it?

OK, well, maybe it is, but it's also about those pretty people perched in the front row of all the major fashion shows. Seeing the likes of Justin Timberlake, Adam Lambert, Kellan Lutz, Victoria Beckham and the wide range of CW stars can ease the burn of knowing you can't afford that incredible couture gown better than any ointment.

So what were they buzzing about all week? Read on…

Alexander McQueen: The biggest headline of the week landed in everyone's BlackBerry inboxes during the first show of the first day…and it was one of tragedy. The legendary designer had committed suicide and a somber air took over Bryant Park. Michelle Williams, Kristen Johnston and Project Runway alum Daniel Vosovic shared their grief with us. We'd say people dressed in black in his honor, but this is New York—everyone wears black.

Snow: Looking fabulous when wet white stuff is falling from the sky in heaps is a feat, even for the most seasoned fashionistas. The secret: adorable wellies and, according to Lambert, loads of hairspray!

Holy Hotness: That's what we're calling Kellan, Chace Crawford, Ryan Phillippe, Jared Leto and Mehcad Brooks all sitting in a row at Calvin Klein Men's.

Valentine Hearts: The mushy holiday gave way to one of our favorite Fall Fashion Week traditions—the Heart Truth Red Dress Collection, where celebs and designers team up for an all-red runway show extravaganza. Jordin Sparks, Kim Kardashian and Elisabeth Hasselbeck didn't disappoint, but it was Felicity Huffman who brought the romance to the proceedings.

Haiti Help: Naomi Campbell whipped up a jaw-dropping event in the Fashion for Relief show, even talking Chris Brown into donning a tux and walking the catwalk! The clothes were classic—especially the McQueen tribute near the end—and the models major.

Behind-the-Scenes Babes: Justin, Victoria, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Pete Wentz, Nicole Richie and Kim Kardashian took on roles typically played by Max Azria, Betsey Johnson and Michael Kors and fretted as their own designs walked the runway.

The Attendance Award: Someone must have told Kelly Osbourne that Mercedes-Benz was giving away a car at the end of the week, because she was everywhere. We have to give Mena Suvari an honorable mention as well.

Motherly Love: Liv Tyler and her mother, Bebe Buell, sitting front row at G-Star were downright gorgeous. Decidedly less so was the way Entourage star Alexis Dziena snipped at her mom, who was carrying all their coats and heavy bags, as they left the Hervé Léger show.

Old Friends: Suvari sat next to Life Unexpected star Shiri Appleby for the Pamella Roland show, where they reminisced about the good old days when they both auditioned for American Pie! "I chopped all my hair off right before my 30th," Shiri confessed. They also talked about the embarrassment of wearing the same dress twice—"You can't unless you're going to a friend's wedding," one of them decided.

Oscar Time: We couldn't help but ogle the gorgeous gowns and wonder which celebs we'd see in them in the near future. In other words, we fantasized about Sandra Bullock in Pamella Roland purple, Carey Mulligan in a striking black Carlos Miele number and Anna Kendrick in grownup sparkles à la Naeem Khan come March 7.

Fond Farewells: As Tommy Hilfiger took his bow Thursday evening, it was the end of an era. Nostalgia filled the air as the famous, fashion-forward and fashion-backward alike bid adieu to the tents at Bryant Park. Spring 2011 Fashion Week in September will be the start of a whole new scene in Lincoln Center.

Until then, as Heidi Klum would say, we're out.
