Thanks to a little scheduling switcheroo, the prime-time airwaves are gearing up for an all-out battle of the Smokeys: In one corner, the castaway-killing smoke monster. In the other, the inevitable eardrum-killing Smokey Robinson cover.

Come March 11, only one will be crowned the winner.

That's when, for the first time in two years, Lost will go head to head with American Idol, after Fox will flip-flop its Wednesday night programming to pit the singing contest against ABC's cult fave.

Just in time for the final rounds, the Simon Cowell snidefest will switch time slots with Lie to Me, moving from the 8 p.m. hour to the Lost-occupied 9 p.m. slot.

And that means viewers like you will have to make a choice...or buy a DVR.
