Calling All Grey's Fans: Try Men in Trees

I had a realization while watching the latest episode of Men in Trees: It's almost as good as Grey's Anatomy ever was.

So, for those of you who've been writing in to say you're slightly disappointed in the current season of our dear friends at Seattle Grace (and I do hear you), I want to make sure you know there's another emotionally engaging, heartwarming, funny and, yes, even dreamy show out right now'cause I fear many of you may be missing it! That show is Men in Trees.

Though Men in Trees had a few growing pains in its first season, like another great ABC drama you should be watching, Brothers & Sisters, it has really hit its stride in its second year.

Maybe it's the insanely good (and real) chemistry between Anne Heche and James Tupper, maybe it's the writers' slight easing off of the quirkiness in favor of the genuine or maybe it's that Anne has really settled into her character's skin. Whatever the reason, Trees has been rocking in its recent episodes. Call it the sophomore antislump.

That said, I truly hope you check out tonight's episode, in its new time slot at 8 on ABC. It's a funny and romantic episode that puts Marin (Heche) and Jack (Tupper) front and center, and it just might give you a few Grey's-ish warm fuzzies you didn't expect.

Go see what all the "McTreemy" fuss is about, and find out if it's any comparison to that other show with the McMen. And as always, feel free to weigh in with your thoughts on Trees and Grey's below.
