It's time for Canada to dance! So You Think You Can Dance Canada will kick off its first season September 11.

More than 2,500 aspiring dancers flocked to the five Canadian audition cities (Toronto, Montreal, Halifax, Vancouver, Calgary) earlier this year with the hopes of being invited to "Finals Week" and eventually the Top 20.

Canada is pumped and ready to show off it's diverse dance talent. The semi-finalists represent a microcosm of Canadian culture.

Taking the lead from the U.S. judging format, the permanent judges will be Tré Armstrong (dancer, choreographer and star of the film How She Move) and Jean Marc Genereux (international ballroom champion and guest judge/choreographer on the U.S. version of the show). The alternating third judge includes Luther Brown (urban choreographer/Sean Combs) and Blake McGrath (choreographer, dancer and Season 1 finalist, DanceLife).

A host of special guest judges will also make an appearance on the Canadian show including the famed “hot tamale” herself, Mary Murphy.

So, put on your dancing shoes, Canada. We’re waiting!
