Sunday’s line-up was a wet dream come true for the ultimate music fan. Seriously. Despite a slight delay on the Mount Currie stage due to N*E*R*D’s tardiness—apparently Pharrell and the gang were battling some major traffic, en route from Whistler to Pemberton—everyone from main stage first act, Vampire Weekend, straight back down to Coldplay—killed their performance. You can’t help but think that everyone’s performance was motivated by the surreal backdrop that they played against.

Ok, I’m not going to lie; I missed all but one main stage performance. Yes, I had to sacrifice Death Cab For Cutie for a Jay-Z / Coldplay stakeout and it was well worth it...What we found out on our little adventure was that both HOVA and Coldplay were staying at this private estate in Pemberton where they were helicoptered in. And they had guests! Chris Martin had his entire family in tow (Gwnenyth, Apple and Moses)—is there no wrong that this man can do?

Speaking of English rockers, in Arisa’s exclusive interview with Vampire Weekend we found out that the boys turned down the opportunity to play Sting’s son’s birthday! HA! Who turns down Sting? The boys weren’t playing divas, their schedules just wasn’t jiving with the birthday date. Bummer. Imagine the types of people that would’ve attended this shindig—probably, would’ve been as unreal as this weekend’s festival line-up…
