1999 Fox Broadcasting Company OMG, OMG, OMG. Pardon me while I act like a hormone-riddled ninth grader at her first dance because, yeeeeee! Emmy weekend is finally here!
As I've mentioned only about 8,000 times so far, this Sunday's Primetime Emmy Awards mark a historic occasion for this particular die-hard TV fan, because it's my first chance to be part of E!'s big Live from the Red Carpet.
This is the big show. With big stars. And li'l ol' me. And okay, confession time: I'm slightly...terrified. And the only thing that just might keep me going is knowing that you, the faithful tubers who have read this column over the years (or the past two minutes) might be watching and sending me some good, positive vibes through your TV set.
So please, if you're feeling generous, do not forget to watch E!'s Live from the Red Carpet this Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and send gentle thoughts my way. It would mean a lot to me.
In case you need help recognizing me, I'll be the nerdy little diehard TV fan who stuffed Ryan Seacrest in the trunk of my car in order to claim his spot on the big show...Or rather, taking over when he goes inside to host the huge show--the Emmys themselves. (And if you ask me, he's gonna rock it.) I also might be spotted drooling over the likes of John Krasinski and Patrick Dempsey. Just maybe.
In the meantime, I haven't forgotten our fun little game of "Emmy Prediction Smackdown!" As you may remember, in my latest Vine show (which you can see here), I challenged you to see whether you or I could better predict this year's Emmy winners.
Well, apparently, our tube-obsessed minds think far too much alike—at least when it comes to the big six categories—because nearly all our predictions were the same. So, to open it up to a real competition, I'm going to branch out this challenge to the supporting acting categories. Read on to find out how...
