Ugly Rumors: Feel free to ignore (for now, at least) the myriad reports in British tabs that Posh Spice is going to appear on Ugly Betty as herself, most of which are based on an Eric Mabius quote in which he supposedly told the Sun, "Victoria is keen, and so are we. We can see her fitting in as a cameo."
Really? An American dude said keen? Not bloody likely.
Anyhow, ABC tells us, "There is no truth to this at this time." There is truth, however, in the news that Mode creative director Ms. Wilhelmina Slater will be accompanied by a bodyguard in the fall season. Seems she has made an enemy or two and may need protection...
Cast Away: We hear casting for the role of Supergirl on Smallville should be completed this week. The only question is, will the news leak before Comic-Con? You tell us. No, seriously, you tell us who they cast!
