Your Face Is Like an Open Bird

Last week's episode of The Soup featured a very special, possibly Peabody Award-winning Clip of the Week that highlighted an unusual practice happening at the Shizuka New York Spa. Those of you who saw it can't forget it, and those of you didn't won't remember it.

In short, the Shizuka Spa makes a cream or lotion, possibly an unguent even, that contains a large portion of nightingale droppings, i.e. bird poo. They take the mixture and spread it on the face of their willing customers. The claim, of course, is that it rejuvenates the skin, makes you beautiful, feel younger, etc. All of which might be true, but we aren't quite ready to try it even though their self-produced video documentary below makes a very convincing case.
