The Jonas Brothers are still on the road to San Juan, Santo Domingo and San José. But they're going to drive right past Monterrey.

Live Nation has canceled the trio's Oct. 21 show in the Mexican city due to "a series of unfortunate events" that have the promoter concerned for the band's safety.

More than 400 drug-related killings have occurred in the state of Nuevo Leon, where Monterrey is located, this year alone.

As of now, Joe, Nick and Kevin are still scheduled to perform in Guadalajara and Mexico City on Oct. 23 and 24.
