While some actors gain and drop weight for a role, K.Stew chops, dyes and regrows her hair to fit her character. Remember the jet-black, cropped Joan Jett 'do for The Runaways?

Her latest look, a warm strawberry blond, is rumored to be for the big-screen adaptation of Jack Kerouac's On the Road. Kristen plays Marylou, the wife of Dean Moriarity, a drifter who road-trips across the United States.
