FlynetStar magazine is reporting that David Beckham recently misplaced his cell phone. He was in South Africa for the World Cup draw when he noticed that he had misplaced it.
I am not sure what the World Cup draw is. I assume it involves drawing pictures of cups from around the world. Beckham panicked over the lost phone because he has many "important contacts" in it. Obviously he didn't want a random South African calling Tom Cruise to ask him if his refrigerator was running.
Luckily for David, when he called his own number, a woman who had found the phone answered and happily returned it to him without incident. If I had found the phone, this story could have had a much better ending.
