What did you really expect from a film that looks toward the likes of Animal House and Porky's for inspiration? The venue is a small-time ski resort that's being taken over and upscaled by a hotshot tycoon (Lee Majors, aka the Six Million Dollar Man). Three partying snowboarders (Jason London, Zach Galifianakis and Derek Hamilton) get caught up in the transition and must muster up the mojo to fight the evil conglomerate power--and, of course, fall for some snow bunnies.
The acting and dialogue come off like a novice dropped onto a double-diamond slope. But there are some zingers for the duuude crowd: a souped-up GTO equipped with a snowplow; wild times in the hot tub; and totally gnarly boarding stunts and wipeouts during the end credits. Still, most will find this one as thin as the mountain air.
