Knock, knock, who's there? Oh, it's an old movie that's only coming out because Vin Diesel is now a XXX-sized star. This moldy flick tells the tale of young, up-and-coming New York mobsters--Diesel, Seth Green, Barry Pepper and Andrew Davoli--who take their Manhattan ways to Montana in search of some lost loot. As an inside-the-Mob movie, Guys doesn't turn us on to anything Martin Scorsese hasn't done better a thousand times before.
It's so derivative that it's almost shocking, considering the guys behind Guys are Rounders writers Brian Koppelman and David Levien. To boot, John Malkovich's ridiculous New Yawk accent sounds like he was sucking on helium between takes. Man, there are enough bullet holes here to make you beg for mercy.
